Each year, we collect national data on turnover, vacancy, and premium labor. Thanks to responses from over 200 member organizations, our CY 2012 benchmarking report includes national benchmarks for 14 metrics, including turnover and vacancy rates by hospital bed size, region, case mix, and union status.
As the economy began to recover from the recession in 2011, many organizations saw upturns in vacancy and turnover. Our new report reveals that both metrics plateaued through 2012.
