Many hospitals are struggling to find or create specialty-specific metrics appropriate for measuring individual-level physician performance, either for complying with the Joint Commission’s OPPE requirement, or for general PI purposes. In response, the Clinical Advisory Board is pleased to offer an Excel database of physician-level metrics--both clinical and non-clinical-- that have been either endorsed by recognized industry groups or specialty associations, or are currently used (e.g., for OPPE purposes) by Advisory Board member hospitals.
