The release of CMS’ final rule on the Medicare Shared Savings Program has re-energized hospital and health system interest in participating in the program. Those elements of the proposed rules that were previously viewed as contentious have been relaxed or modified such that the program is more attractive to many providers. Hospitals and health systems are now challenged with understanding how they will fare under the final rule, and several key aspects need to be evaluated in order to determine their strategy going forward.

To support hospitals and health systems that are interested in applying to the MSSP, The Advisory Board has launched a MSSP implementation initiative. Through this initiative, experts from The Advisory Board’s Southwind division partner with health system executives throughout the entire process, beginning with determining the appropriate MSSP model for your organization, submitting the application, and designing and implementing the program.

By participating in this webconference, you will walk away with a key understanding of our approach to partnering with you and evaluating any or all of the following areas:

  • Is your organization a good candidate to become an ACO?
  • Should you pursue the one-sided model or two-sided model?
  • Are your current physician alignment strategies optimized for program participation?
